To provide you with the safest treatments and the highest standard of service, we kindly ask all clients to familiarise themselves with our booking policy before scheduling an appointment. These guidelines are designed to protect both clients and practitioners, ensuring smooth appointments, reliable scheduling, and optimal results.
Consultations
Every treatment journey begins with a consultation. We offer complimentary virtual consultations, where you will have the opportunity to speak directly with one of our qualified practitioners. During this time, we will review your complete medical history, including chronic conditions, allergies, past aesthetic procedures, and current medications. This information is vital in ensuring that treatments are safe, appropriate, and tailored to your individual needs. The consultation is also your opportunity to ask questions, explore treatment options, and gain realistic expectations about outcomes.
Pre-Treatment Guidance
To achieve the best results and reduce the risk of complications, it is essential to follow pre-treatment advice:
Medications & Supplements: Avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain supplements like vitamin E and fish oil for at least 7–10 days prior to treatment. These can increase the risk of bruising. Please do not discontinue any prescribed medications without first consulting your GP or specialist.
Alcohol & Caffeine: Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine for 24–48 hours before your procedure to minimise swelling and bruising.
Antibiotics: If you are currently taking or have recently completed a course of antibiotics, please inform us in advance, as this may require rescheduling.
Lifestyle Considerations: Staying well-hydrated, rested, and avoiding intense exercise or sauna use immediately before treatment can also help to optimise results.
Age Policy
House of Genesis provides aesthetic treatments exclusively to individuals aged 21 and above. This ensures treatments are carried out responsibly, ethically, and with full informed consent. In rare circumstances where services may be considered for medical purposes in younger individuals (18+), such cases will only proceed following a detailed consultation, strict assessment, and, where appropriate, medical approval.
Deposits & Payments
To confirm and secure your appointment, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable; however, we recognise that life is unpredictable and plans may change. Clients may reschedule their appointment with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, and the deposit will be transferred to the new appointment.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the deposit will be forfeited.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late to your appointment may result in cancellation, as this impacts our ability to provide safe and thorough treatment. In this case, the deposit will also be forfeited.
Missed appointments without notice will result in loss of the deposit and may affect future bookings.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We ask all clients to respect our scheduling system, as last-minute cancellations reduce the opportunity for other clients to book appointments. If you need to reschedule, please contact us no later than 24 hours before your appointment. This ensures fairness to other clients and allows us to maintain a smooth and reliable service for everyone.
