Microneedling Treatment

  • Overview

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses fine, medical-grade needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. This stimulates the body’s natural healing response, boosting collagen and elastin production — key proteins that keep skin firm, smooth, and youthful.

    It can help improve:

    -Fine lines and wrinkles

-Acne scars and other types of scarring

    -Enlarged pores

    -Uneven skin tone and texture

    -Early signs of ageing

    -Overall skin radiance and firmness

Microneedling is often combined with serums or skin boosters to further enhance results, making it a versatile treatment for a range of skin concerns.

  • Who Is Suitable for Treatment?

Microneedling is suitable for adults who wish to improve skin texture, reduce scarring, and restore a healthy, radiant complexion without surgery. It is safe for most skin types and tones.

Treatment may not be recommended for individuals who are:

    Pregnant or breastfeeding

Have active acne, eczema, psoriasis, or other skin conditions in the treatment area

Have open wounds or infections on the skin

Have a history of poor wound healing or keloid scarring

Are taking certain medications (e.g., blood thinners, isotretinoin/Accutane)

A consultation will determine if microneedling is the right option for you.

  • Downtime / Recovery

Recovery after microneedling is typically quick. Most clients experience redness, similar to mild sunburn, which usually subsides within 24–48 hours. Some may also notice temporary dryness, tightness, or slight peeling as the skin renews itself.

We recommend avoiding makeup, direct sun exposure, vigorous exercise, and harsh skincare products for the first 24–48 hours. Sun protection is essential during the healing process.

  • Side Effects

Microneedling is generally well tolerated, but temporary side effects can include:

    -Redness or mild swelling

    -Skin sensitivity

    -Dryness or flaking

    -Pinpoint bleeding (during treatment)

    -Mild bruising (rare)

-Infection or scarring is very rare when the treatment is carried out by trained medical professionals in a sterile environment.
